What steel grades are used in the ninjato swords in this collection?

The ninjato collection spans a broad range of steel grades to suit different collector preferences and budgets. At the accessible end, 1045 carbon steel provides a reliable, tough blade that holds its shape well under display conditions and takes finish treatments cleanly. Moving up the range, 1060 carbon steel offers a finer grain and greater hardness, making it a popular mid-tier choice among collectors who want a step up from entry-level construction without committing to premium pricing. Manganese Steel appears across many pieces in the collection and is valued for its exceptional surface hardness and the deep, even black finish it accepts particularly well. T10 carbon steel is the premium option within the high-carbon range: it features a very fine grain structure and is the grade most likely to produce a clear, well-defined hamon temper line on a finished blade. At the top of the range, Damascus steel pieces are forged through a layering and folding process that produces flowing wave-like patterns on the blade surface, making each one genuinely unique. All grades feature full-tang construction.
