What makes Enma different from Zoro's other swords?
Updated Mar 2026
Enma is unique among Zoro's blades because of its in-universe trait of actively drawing out its wielder's Haki — a property no other sword in the series shares in the same way. It was one of two swords forged by the legendary swordsmith Shimotsuki Kozaburo, the other being Wado Ichimonji. Enma is also classified as a Great Grade sword, placing it among the finest 21 blades in the One Piece world. On a replica level, this translates to a visually distinct design: the black scabbard, aggressive blade profile, and 3D-sculpted fittings set it apart from the white lacquered Wado Ichimonji or the red-accented Sandai Kitetsu in any side-by-side display.
