What is the difference between Shusui and Enma in Zoro's arsenal?
Updated Feb 2026
Within the One Piece narrative, Shusui is an O Wazamono-grade black blade that Zoro obtained after defeating the zombified Ryuma in the Thriller Bark arc. He later returned it to Wano Country and received Enma as a replacement — a sword of equal grade but with a distinct personality that forcibly drains its wielder's Haki. Design-wise, the two are quite different: Shusui features a heavy black blade with crimson and gold fittings, while Enma has a lighter purple-and-gold color scheme with a more flowing aesthetic. For replica collectors, owning both provides an interesting visual contrast and represents two significant chapters of Zoro's journey as a swordsman.
