T10 Carbon Steel Katana with Hamon in Purple-Blue Lightning Saya - Dark Green Handle

The blade is forged from T10 carbon steel, a high-carbon tool steel prized for its edge retention and structural integrity. A real hamon runs the full length of the blade, the authentic temper line produced during the heat-treatment process, visible as a flowing contrast line between the hardened edge and the body of the steel. The chrome-finished surface is hand-polished to a clean, reflective finish with a traditional curvature suited to Handmade Samurai Sword collectors and display enthusiasts alike.

The tsuka is wrapped in a dark green synthetic cord over a foundation of real white samegawa (ray skin). The samegawa provides a naturally textured base that gives the cord wrap its characteristic raised diamond pattern, while the deep green color creates a dramatic contrast against the chrome nagasa and the gold tsuba collar.

The tsuba is cast in a gold tone and features a carved wave relief design - ocean swells and curling crests rendered in fine detail across the face of the guard. The fuchi and kashira components echo the gold hardware, maintaining a unified metal palette throughout the koshirae assembly.

The saya is constructed from hardwood and finished with layers of premium natural lacquer in a purple-to-blue gradient overlaid with a lightning pattern in cyan and white. The effect reads as an electric storm across the length of the scabbard - dramatic under direct light, and visually dynamic from any angle. A teal sageo cord is attached at the kurigata, completing the color story between the handle and saya.
